Hello Everyone,
I wanted to give you a reminder for my art show and reception this Saturday at Sierra Arts Foundation 17 S. Virginia suite #120. It is from 12pm to 4pm. If you can’t make the reception and you would like to see the show it will be hanging until June 1st. I have put up some new greeting cards there as well.
Also in the show will be Roger Kinnaman and Candace Garlock.
We would love to see you and have your support. Light refreshments will be served for small donation to benefit the Sierra Arts Foundation.
Other future shows include Reno Quilt Expo June 13th-15th at the Grand Sierra Reno and Casino. I will have exhibits in the Studio Art Quilts Exhibit and a solo exhibit where my pieces will be for sale.
I have another show September 21st from 2pm to 6pm at the McKinley Arts Center ( changed from Rancho San Raphael). This show will feature wild life and I will have some prints and cards available for purchase.
I have been working on some abstract landscapes done in two ways. One is a silk painting and the other in fabric collage. I have not finished either but I will give you a sneak peak. Of course I will publish these when they are done. They are very different and I wanted to take the same idea and see what I could do with each medium and still the same idea of a sunset bayou. They are coming together.
