From Montréal

Bonjour Everyone!

This blog will be rather short.

I’m writing to you from Montréal, Canada. This city is amazing even with all the rain. The people are friendly and accommodating even with my poor  French language skills.  So far Bryan and I have gone to the Museum of Fine Arts. I took this interesting photo of the stairway at the museum. If you’re wondering, I am planning on quilting it too.

My demonstration for the East Fork Gallery Show  was a success and I met many new quilters and observers who enjoyed watching me demonstrate my work. The show will close on April 30th so if you wanted to see it you still have some time. Many people want me to teach my technique. At this time I have no plans, but that may change so stay tuned.

I will be exhibiting a couple of pieces at the Reno Quilt Expo at the Grand Sierra Resort with the S.A.Q.A. Exhibition , June 15th-17th.

Up and coming shows for 2024: I have been accepted to do a show with Roger Kinneman, pastel artist, in May of 2024 at the Sierra Arts Foundation. I will feature birds and bird scenes in this exhibit. All pieces will be for sale plus I will create a new greeting card set of the pieces for those who like my art cards. Look for updates and reception time.

For now this is me signing off for this blog….Au Revoir!
